“Astronomy” is more for beginners and people interested in cosmology. It tends to have short articles with little depth. “Sky & Telescope” is a more serious magazine, more aimed at advanced amateurs and professionals. I’ve always found Sky & Telescope the more interesting and rewarding of the two, but then I’m a geek!
I have at one time or another subscribed to both, but must admit I prefer Sky and Telescope. Both are good magazines, but Astronomy is really for beginners or those interested in cosmology. S&T is definitely for more serious observers and photographers, and is a bit more technically oriented with excellent data.

I have subscribed it for long period and is best both for amateurs and professionals.
