@Cenarrion you’re totally right, i’ve written some songs about this subject, dude, i’m 16 and i totally can’t stand this generation, ohh, and lp collector too
@Cenarrion However, even though you might think older music is better than what is made today, that is not entirely correct.
Music is much different today, and much of it is no good.
However, this because of two things.
One, much more music is getting produced today, which means there is much more trash out there, and two, when looking back, it’s easier to find the gems, like this song for example.
i’m sure that in the 2050′s it will be easy to single out the good things from 2000-2010
@MikeIvensky The funny thing is, neither do I. But the people that have LP’s just want to throw them away. So i find my self in a right spot in a right time and they give it to me. But if I had funds, I would spend them for this divinity.
Wow, takes me back to Seattle 1975… Eric was in the center of the stage belting it out at the paramount, smoke was thick as fog and the spot lights were shining on the mirrored ball.. the arms of light that “sliced” through the crowd and smoke while this played were like shining metal blades. They were bright enough that they literally threw you back when they struck your eyes. It is a memory that I will never forget. Thanks BOC.

@wlh1us It’s pretty hard to find really good stuff through the mainstream channels, that’s true. But you can still find music on unsigned channels like podsafeaudio and garageband that will just blow your mind.
i like ‘tallica, but BOC give this song the real nuance it requires.
also, it’s amazing what Pearlman was saying back then with imaginos. Because many folks today do believe history to be a manipulated affair. see Klaus Dona on youtube re: history of human race. Others channel their story… google Laura Knight all for one.
@Cenarrion I’m sixteen and feel the same way. When I tell people that I like a band called Iron Maiden, or blue Oyster Cult, or Deep Purple, people are either like, “Who the hell is iron maiden?”, or they say something like, “Oh.” and look at me like I’m some sort of freak because of the music I listen to. I don’t care what another sixteen year old thinks of my music–all I know is that this blue oyster cult and rainbow, and pink floyd will never get old, and still be playing twenty years later.
I have this album on vinyl but nothing to play it on any more, hence years since I heard this, the main riff is like a subtle version of some Iron Maiden track don’t ya think? Great stuff

@carazide It’s only decorative, it doesn’t change the pronunciation.
If you want to know more, search ‘Metal Umlaut’ on Wikipedia.
Best there is!!! Love it.. Peace. D
Can anyone explain to me why they have an Ö in their name?
I’m from sweden, and if you pronounce their name like they spell it, it just sounds retarded. ” Blue oester cult ”
is it like möterhead (moeterhead) that put the ö in there to make their band name look more evil?
Sure dont hope so, as that’s just stupid.

@Cenarrion Other than collecting LPs which I simply don’t have funds for, ditto.
@Cenarrion Genious
@Cenarrion

You always have to give credit to the original writers. BOC had great ideas.
@Cenarrion haha ya. Im 14 and if i see another guy in my grade listening to lady gaga, im going to explode…
Best BOC’s song ever.

@Cenarrion Their early work is still the best, IMO. It was a sound that is still ahead of its time.
I prefer Metallica’s version, way better vocals
15 here . saw these guys live GREAT show

Metallica did a good version of this song too! but the original is still better, i gotta give it to them.
i need lyrics D:
