great song , great band , i grew up with this band and they made me discover metal , now since a long time ago i kinda quit listening to then cause no offense but i found out better band and better style like melo dark metal but they will always earn our respect for their greatness and good music they made

Note there’s 2 studio recordings of Astronomy by BOC — one slower and more like a ballad, the other more metal. this Metallica one resembles the ballad, so make sure you check out both BOC versions!
The other issue is the lyrics. It’s the Four Winds Barn. Susie is a repeat character in many BOC songs. BOC has a huge number of albums, I highly recommend at least checking them out. Some of my favorites include Flaming Telepaths and Harvest Moon.
BOC were an extraordinary band, but comparing the original version with this one is simply comparing prog. rock with metal. I like both version in their own unique way. Song is simply great!

no. Disc one was recoded in one month in 1998. (11 songs, including Astronomy)
you are talking about the The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited, Jason’s first…that appeared in 1987, and (like i already said) is on the second disc of Garage Inc, along with Motorheadache (1995), Garage Days Revisited(1984) and the other covers form B sides singles (1988-1991)
