Kilcoy claims to be the home of the mythical Yowie, Australia's equivalent of Bigfoot or the Yeti, which is said to live in the hills around Kilcoy. There is a large wooden statue of the creature in town. The last reported Yowie sighting in Kilcoy was in May 2007 by UQ student Daniel Raaen.[3]
google it for more info i guess. i got that from wikipedia.
i used to live near that town.
My sister brought home the hairyest bastid I ever saw. He was huge and hairy. He spoke in a series of grunts, obscenities and moans but that's cuz he was drunk at the time. Once we got him sobered up a little it turned out that he was just a big hairy biker. False alarm. Good thing she didn't let me sell him to the circus.
check the web dude………
