People are this gullible because they are dipsh*ts. People who answer questions thay claim to not give a sh*t about are also dipsh*ts. And people who believe there is ANYTHING at all you would like to look up about Kentucky? You guessed it,they are SUPER dipsh*ts.
a part of u believes that's why u're asking this question. if not why do u care.
as for me.i.dont give a ____
Grow up already
Because they want to believe it. It existing always gives them the possibility of one day coming into contact with it and then getting attention as if their lives are more important.
People love oddities and myths. Do you think religion would have taken off so well if people didn't get convinced of the supernatural easily? The majority of the world believes in some form of supernatural oddity whether it be a cosmic being that dictates our entire existence, or the great Spaghetti Monster.
I want to know.. . . If Loch Ness exists, how come he hasn't gobbled someone up yet? And the same for Big Foot. I would be more inclined to believe the stories if someone got gobbled. That is just me personally.
Just because people are faking vids and pics of those two 'mythical' creatures doesn't mean they don't exist. Some scientists have a theory that we see these kinds of creatures because there are several different dimensions that interweave at some places, hence supernatural 'hotspots' where these creatures are seen so much. People have reportedly disapeared in these places and have never been found. It's not impossible, you know.
My family moved to Kentucky for work, we live out in the country with lots of trees, and one night about three a.m. i was up with my older brother and we heard sounds coming from the woods, at first I'm thinking its just a train so i ignored it,the next day there was this long white haired horned MONKEY with long claws in my back yard, now i was scared so i ran to goggle and typed in yeti in Kentucky they call them goat men and i thought oh my gosh its real. and if you don't believe me look up yeti in Kentucky.
I think this is possibly a sarcastic question,? However I think people want to believe because it can make life more interesting then it is.
But having said that I believe in Nessie. Not because it has been photographed or not and not because it is popular, But who says it is not something from another dimension?
Why not? We are here in the Myth and folklore board, we must be interested right? If Ghosts are in another realm, why not big foot and Nessie? Perhaps we see them during time slips. Or slips in there layer or ours.
Remember many people have seen the Civil War Battles on the haunted ground of the South USA. Another time slip?
Something to think about anyway
Bigfoot and Loch Ness Monster's are like some people believing in God. You will believe it when you see it. I know what I saw and what I believe.
I agree, there is no proof of Bigfoot's existence whatever.
I disagree about the Loch Ness Monster though, Grendel!
You are, at least, acquainted with Beowulf's story.
The reasons I disagree about Nessie are four.
The first is the preponderance of stories dating back to the AD 565 sighting of Nessie, or something like her, and which continue on through the history of the British Isles, up to very recent times. There are just too many of them, and not told in the manner of hoaxes. A lot of the other evidence can be debunked or at least is not clear, but eyewitness testimony to this degree is hard for me to just shunt aside.
The second piece of evidence is the picture of a flipper which was triggered by an underwater camera in 1978 in the lock. The flipper is only known to belong to two types of sea creatures, the pleisiosaurs and cousins, and the giant sea turtle. There has never been a sighting of a giant sea turtle in the loch and the photograph has been considered genuine.
Third is that this type of sea creature is known to have lived and moved in these areas of the world and farther north, and just recently a great find of fossils of the pleisosaurs and cousins was discovered on a small island off Norway. This is not straight one to one evidence but it confirms that such creatures existed and in that area of the world and in great numbers.
The last bit of evidence that I'll put forward is that my husband's father was on a small ship in WWII and for several days a large sea monster followed the ship eating the garbage they threw overboard. One of the accompanying ships saw it on sonar and thought it was an enemy sub and blasted it to death with depth charges. My father-in-law was nothing if not a truthful man.
I could give other evidences that I think support the presence of grendels, Nessies, and other great creatures within historical times, but I think this is enough to start you with.
One thought to leave you with. Folklore comes from somewhere, garbled or not. What caused the story of Beowulf and killing of Grendel? And there are many such stories that abound. Folklore doesn't come out of the air.
There is usually a basis for it in fact.

well lets see a sane answer…. well with this question u have decided to draw controversy towards yourself so its not a matter of do we believe in them or the "proof" they have of them but whether or not u r open minded enough to believe for yourself that they are infact real.
I just don't know, have never seen it; because I never seen it does that mean it doesn't exist? The possibilities are endless.
