Why wouldn't they exist?

They would have lived a long time ago and were killed by the KT event. But the water dragon would have lived.

now they could have moved on land as said in the site and humans would have not liked that much. There would have been fight and nobody lived to tell the story so dragons went into myth and legend. (Sad) But the water dragon could be living at the bottom of the ocean and we have just not found them.
There fossils could be lost to Earth's platal movements (convergent boundaries), or we just have not found them.
Sadly the fossil found on that show was not real but there were fossils like that that were so that is one of the factors pointing to dragons. Stories could have been mixed up but dragons still could have lived maybe like the priestoric dragon only four limbs. Perhaps the bacteria said to have powered flight and fire could have ate away any evidence be for it could be fossilalized?
OTHER POSIBILITIES
There was a big lizard that lived some time ago. People will argue over the number of years so I will not list. It was similar to komodo dragons but much bigger and lived in Australia. People must have been tasty to this lizard because ancient wrightings depict this animal and how people stopped it. Setting fire to the plains. They did this in the morning so the lizards would slow to react due to could whether. Other tribes may have seen the lizards moving in large numbers and a big fire. Put two and two together and there’s a dragon for ya.
One popular theory is that they were dinosaurs, well that’s good but think could dinosaurs be dragons and one more thing maybe a dragon like the chines one existed and stories about it flying came around so others put wings on them. Or maybe a dragon lived in between dinosaurs and birds? The hard thing about dragons is that there is so much that leads to them existing and not existing. The Silk Road was a rout that stories along with goods were passed and may have been misplaced. Also the dinosaurs did not all die at once. We do not know the exact place where the so called KT event happened. But most likely there was some part of the world not as effected and dinos could have survived to some time before dieing out.

Komodo Dragons are monitor lizards now they may resemble dragons but they where not known about until close to modern time. So despite where dragons could have come from this possibility is closed off.
So having said all that yes I believe dragons once lived, but they would not still be alive today.

As far as nessy we don't know. it could be real but it is imposible to live in such a small lake. if it does then show me a pic. most likly "nessy" is in the ocean.

the modern day dragon is ufo,s metal dragons.they just have not spit there flame yet.
Actually flying dragons like we see in books and films have been proven to be impossible. The wings that would be needed to lift something that big would just be absolutely massive. That's why there's never been anything that big that could fly – even flying dinosaurs were never as big as walking dinosaurs.
Nessie supposedly could be an ancestor of a dinosaur. Geographically it's possible, as Loch Ness is extremely deep. Realistically though it's very unlikely any animal could have survived so long in a populated place without firm evidence – and it's unlikely there's another down there to breed with.
People claim to see all sorts of things – doesn't mean they're true.
They were real once – a skeleton was found.
but they are long extinct. Perhapse Nessy might be a dragon- or a figment of the imagination. Its hard to tell.
I believe in Dragons.
They are in Spirit form, like angels etc.

In regards to wings to lift something that big, look at bumblebees. They defy the laws of physics every time they take flight.
The dragons of today are the pockets of energy that manifest during storms. There's no telling what form this pool showed up as during earlier stages of earth developments. That's where the legends surrounding the beings originated.

I dont think dragons ever existed. I think maybe people found dinosaur bones down through the ages and people's imaginations just built an animal around it. Loch Ness? I really dont know about that, just like I dont know about Bigfoot or Yeti or Abominable Snowman
I believe that dragons were at one time very real. My reason for believing this is that if you look at ancient cultures over the world they ALL have stories or legends of dragons in their culture. I'm not sure if they made it to today though, you would think there would be sightings or something.
Loch Ness… again I think was once real. It was a Celtic legend passed down over the centuries. The story changed but people hung on to it. I think the sightings today are wishful thinking. I think they see large waves, snakes, logs and stuff like that. That lake has been gone over too many times not to have found something!

dragons could fly. there stomach made helium. they breath fire when theyd grind there teeth togethr. almost like you wld use a match. the helium theyd breath out would then be there fuel. but breathing fire is a last resort. the more helium used the less lift theyd have. with out helium they cant fly.

besides they found one in the ice frozen solid. and right after that they found a dinosaur wich was half charcoal.
Surely they were real, not just massive body but also huge wings. Helium helped to fly & in emitting fire. How can’t they be real. And I believe that they still exist coz more than 70% of the world is unexplored…………dragons are the starting only…..
