We don’t know if Nessie is a dinosaur like it is generally thought. If she was just a large water snake she could very well live off local marine life.
Carcass? Really? I’ll have to go research this. I have been infatuated with this for years and years and have even cut out newspaper articles, but I really figured it was a flamboyant myth. That’s exciting to me! Wish you would have left a url.
If the creature exist today, then it is not prehistoric. Obviously it has fed on something. Fish? other meats? perhaps it is vegetarian! Di you really think that all of the sightings over the years have been the same creature or several generations of the same type of animal?
I WOULD COME INTO THE WORLD ONE DAY TO EXPLAIN THIS AND END THE MYSTERY OF GOD AND THEN THIS GARDEN IS HARVEST AND FINISHED AND THEN THE NEXT SEASON COMES FOR THE NEXT GARDEN,AND BEFORE GOD 1000 YEARS ARE BUT A DAY HERE ON THE EARTH,6OOO YEARS THE GARDEN OF GOD IS OVER,NESSY HAS BEEN EATING WEEDS FOR 4000 thousands years
It hasn’t been living millions of years, it was created at the same time that everything else was. I am one of those who believe that dinosaurs are not that old and that they coexisted with humans. There are so many legends about slaying dragons, and legends about sea dragons, that there has to be some truth to them somewhere. Now, the earth dragons/dinosaurs were killed out of mostly fear and in a number of cases, defense. But those living in the sea have stood a much better chance over the years, and they may have some intelligence to know that if someone spotted them that they would be dead meat. Since they are out in the middle of the ocean at low depths, they tend not to get messed with that much. In fact, early text books discussed sea monsters, dragons, and dinosaurs as creatures that were relevant and being made extinct. It wasn’t until the theory of evolution that text books were rewritten to make it look as though humans and these creatures never shared the earth at the same time.
IF Nessie did once exist, it would have most likely been a pleisiosaur (brachio/brontosaurus were both land dwellers). It is possible that dinosaurs may have survived in the Scottish Lochs which are quite large, and very deep. However, the chances of enough of these animals surviving AND being able to reproduce to keep them going to this day, is near on impossible. But nothing keeps the tourists coming like the chance they just might see…
I cannot revel the secrets of the Loch or else…..
he eats the werewolves and vampires that come near.
Fish, seaweed and sailors.
Nessie hunters!
I think so Nessie seams to be migratory and live in the sea most of the time.
I don’t believe I’ve ever heard about a carcass.

I would think that she would have been feeding off aquatic creatures.
Algae, seaweed, fish, plankton, brill, and maybe other micro-organisms…
