How do you get past the ghosts with the torches with Ron in Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban the game?

You have to use Lumos Duo on the hinkypunks (the ghosts). Keep lighting them up until they start rotating and become solid. Then, use Flipendo on the solid hinkypunk and it will disappear.
After you finish killing the 6 hinkypunks (when you beat the first goup, a new one will appear, kill them the same way), use Lumos Duo on the crystal ball to open the door. The crystal ball will start shining and will send a light shaft to the eye next to the closed door.
