good BUT when you capture your ghost you have no negative to let the scientist test
In other words all you have is a few million pixels that could catch a puff of smoke in the room or a ghost but you try and prove it..

Bad idea. The ghosts will melt them. Digital cameras are much more suited for taking pictures of zombies.

I honestly think that sometimes the best type of camera for capturing those types of things is my film camera. I’ve gotten some great stuff. However, I also understand the want to not want to waste money on all the film. It can’t hurt. You’re just gonna have to deal with batteries and sometimes they like to suck energy out of the batteries.

well they show up orbs, and as a proper photographer, i have to admit, it isnt refraction or diffraction… and yes, ive had a few, but my mate, whose very spiritual seems to get hundreds.. but hes only got a cheapo camera…with a lens made from recycled jam jars… and ive got a digital SLR…

i put my flares and orbs down to refracted light from a random source.. silver based photography allows the light to be bounced off a mirror to the film plane, yet Dcams collect information thru a Cmos processor, which sees the difrracton as random orbs… , we cant see it, the traditional film cant see, but just because the Dcams shows it, is it real, or is it literally a ghost in the machine?

When i first got one i took a load of random pictures around my house in the dark (like you do!) and low and behold, one picture where my other half is having a lie down on the sofa, behind him on the wall is a man in a suit, just stood against the wall.

Standard pocket-size cameras are rubbish for taking flash photos because they magnify any dust particles in a dark room into large grey circles.

Also, most digital cameras have a slight delay between pressing the shutter and the exposure taking place. If your ghost is a fleeting apparition, then you may miss it with a digital, whereas with a wholly mechanical camera you might have caught it. Also, if you do catch an image, it is harder for people to say you faked it if it’s on a negative (especially if you’re not trained in darkroom procedures).

If you must use digital, switch the flash off, use a tripod (for stability) and get the best spec camera you can afford. You can enhance dark photos later, using editing software, to see what’s there.
