Someone may have pranked you, I’ve noticed on several occasions that if a caller uses the prefix *67 before dialing your number, it not only masks their ID, but the caller ID won’t even record that there was a call.
Pretty freaky though
Perhaps your answering machine is gettig old and not working correctly especially if it is one that keeps recording over the old tape.
Maybe you should get the kind of message service that is part of the phone service instead of a having an extra gizmo?
I agree with the first answer that you received.I don’t feel like this was anything paranormal. It sounds as if someone is just trying to scare you,if you keep getting these calls and they become threatening then inform the police.Keep the evidence on your tape machine.Just my thoughts.
wow Scary! Could be a prank, but I don’t know how either… I’m not saying this is true (just a suggestion) but when you plugged your machine back in and you heard the message record, it could have picked up spirits in your house. That sounds more convincing than someone calling you and your caller ID not picking it up. Esp. if you heard it beep and there was no other blank message on your machine, it obviously recoded some sort of message. There is always the possibility that could just be back ground noise that sounded similar to what you thought you heard, but I didn’t hear it so I have no opinion on that. I have recently been researching ESP and there is some definitely real stuff out there, it can be very scary. Just out of curiosity, have you tried recording another blank message to see if you get the same results? that could give you a clue as to what it is, or at least narrow down the possibilities…
Bill Collector.
EVP’s are real and you could have a fantastic one on your hands! get it to a paranormal investigator to have it analyzed. and MAKE COPIES. also, you need a blessing on yourself and your house. pray and bring as much positive energy into yourself as you can. repeat the name of JESUS CHRIST often and have faith you will be protected. I don’t think a glitch in your answering machine would spell out evil and threatening words. and it would be a pretty sick and elaborate prank to go to all that trouble. pray.
Vocal chords are required in order to have a voice. Unfortunately, that excludes ghosts or spirits. They are supposed to be non-physical, so they can’t produce sound waves. EVPs have never been shown to be anything more than auditory pareidolia.
Your problem will be of natural, mundane causes.
I heard EVP really works but can be dangerous
It is definatly a prank. What do you expect from the month of Hallowene???
Get the experience out of your head now.
Its cuzz ur old and your old person ears are gay and old and stuffs. there is not such ting a EVP or paranormal stuff
1st *67 makes the caller id say unknown name ” “# 2nd its happend b4 2 me also if u have cammeras set them up depending on wut u catch call a paranormal investigators b sure to tell them u have children if u do ( young ones)
You could also try setting up another recorder near the phone in question. Use a tape a few hours long and set it to record right before you go to bed. If you get audible messages on this too, it eliminates the whole phone problem idea. Then you have more evidence of spirit
voices that can’t be a phone prank. You can take these to an investigator, or even just a technical expert who can analyze voices on tape. Only really big cities usually have ‘Paranormal investigators.’
Because you weren’t expecting this at all, it sounds more credible to me. Good Luck!
My experience is spirits do use the phone. Your phone might have recorded back ground noise. It could be It will never happen again. Spirits feed on the energy of fear. Your best bet is to forget about it. Think happy thoughts.
