Not really. Most spirits resent the living and having them poking around with ghosts isn’t something they take kindly to. I would recommend sudying some psychic protection techniques before delving into this stuff.
The greatest danger of holding a seance (besides making yourself look retarded, of course) is burning your house down with candles. EVP sounds safe as long as you don’t mix alkaline and rechargeable batteries in your tape recorder.
No, it’s not. Contacting the dead like that is always dangerous and wrong, and if you hear anything, it will be the devil posing as your loved one, not your loved one.
geez. Contacting the dead like that… I can turn my recorder on and not say a word and get an evp. I’m not calling anything in. In a seance you are calling things in, but not in recording. If the recorder is picking them up, then they are already there.
