Christians, if you don’t believe in “reincarnation”, then why do you profess being “born again”?

yep, that’s right. I hope I’m a leaf in the next life. “photosynthesis”

  2. Shadow says:

With your attitude and beliefs there is no reason to try to explain this to you as you would not believe it anyhow. There is a difference, and all I will say is read Matthew in the New Testament WITH UNDERSTANDING. Get some help with it from someone WHO KNOWS the Word of God.

  3. Julian says:

There’s a difference between believing in “reincarnation” like being young now old, and reincarnation, being born, then “dying” then being born again.

  4. Prays towards Funky Town. says:

It doesn’t say anything like you say.
    Read John 3:1-12.
You sound a lot like Nicodemus did when Christ explained it to him. See also Ezekiel 11:19, and Romans 6:4 & 7:6.

    wha eva

Not that your really interested, but being born of the spirit is not the same as being born of the flesh. it’s a profound mystery, one in which your not likley to understand, but do answer the reincarnation thing, how about this: hebrews 9:27 Just as man is destined to DIE ONCE, and after that to face judgement,

    here’s yer sign!

    You said:

Yep, sounds like reincarnation to me. You were “reincarnated” into a holy-rollin, Bible bashing, hellfire-obsessed drone.

Why is it that people who dont know a thing about Catholicsm immediately make an insult to us Christians when you are asking us for an answer???

Are you sure you even read the Bible? If you read the passages before and after you wouldn’t even think it refers to reincarnation.

    It is NOT reincarnation.
Reincarnation is the belief that when one dies, one’s body decomposes, but one is reborn in another body. It is the belief that one has lived before and will live again in another body after death.

At the end of time ALL of us will be rejoined to OUR bodies, NOT someone else’s!

I mean c’mon! Reincarnation is like me dying now and being born again as Arnold Swarchenegger or George W. Bush! We Christians dont teach something like that!
