Why is it that Christians keep claiming that Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies in the OT when he didn’t?

"Why is that?"
It's all part of an elaborate scam started by Paul and formalised by Constantine.

You should take up debate.
You're talented. Your argument is just…stellar. Really.
For true! xD
it's a belief of christians.
He did. In the Old Testament, it said that a coming Savior will save people. Jesus came and died on the cross for their sins. By save, they meant saved from Satan's wrath.
didn't you know that they rewrote the jewish scriptures to reflect positively upon their "messiah" so it would be more believable?
if the OT were actually the jewish scriptures, it would show that jesus did not accomplish the prophecies required.
that is just it, if you were to pick up even a christian translation of the bible, even the christian versions shows that he did NOT fulfill prophecies…..they didn't re-write it……they translated it differently, but to anyone seriously looking for truth, and not for their heart to be moved, anyone can easily see that he didn't fulfill any of the supposed prophecies
and what the CLAIM he fulfilled……i mean really, they claim that he was the messiah because he was born of a woman….hello, i was born of a woman………..there is no prophecies claiming that the messiah would be born of a virgin…….there is a place that christians translate as a person being born of a virgin, but the text made it clear that the child was born at about 700 BCE……not jesus
all of their supposed prophecies fall apart under any scrutiny
The OT was written long before the NT.
Isaiah 9:6-7 says the Messiah will be born as a child and will also be God. And he will be a descendant of David.
Micah 5:2 Says the Messiah will be born in Bethlehem.
Daniel 9:25-26 is saying the Messiah will die in 33 AD – will be cut off 483 years (69X7) after the decree to rebuild the temple.
Isaiah 52:13 – 53-12 is filled with prophecies that were the traditional Jewish interpretation of the Messiah – until Jesus fulfilled them.
do your research fool. over 300 prophecies spelled out by prophets in the OT were fulfilled by one man, which is a staggering statistic. the ones He has yet to fulfill, He shall. recall He did not die but rose again. here is just one of the many describing His death hundreds of years before crucifixion was conceived.
Psalm 22:16 For dogs have surrounded me; A band of evildoers has encompassed me; They pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones. They look, they stare at me; They divide my garments among them, And for my clothing they cast lots.
Isaiah 53:5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth. By oppression and judgment He was taken away; And as for His generation, who considered That He was cut off out of the land of the living For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due? His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. But the LORD was pleased To crush Him, putting Him to grief; If He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, And the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand.
Could you please list the ones he did and the ones he did not?
Wow! You are so smart that you know more than all the apostles that walked with Christ and wrote about how He fulfilled them all.
I would have to be a fool to try and answer your lies…. I feel sorry for you.
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
Galatians 1:11-12
I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that the Bible was "breathed out" by God.
Galatians 1: 11-12 tells us that the gospel was a revelation from Jesus Christ himself, which was recorded by Jesus disciples and Paul.
God himself chose the disciples and the people whom He knew were going to spread His word and write the Bible.
The Bible was written by approximately 40 men of diverse backgrounds over the course of 4000 years. Despite being penned by different authors over 40 centuries, the Bible does not contradict itself and does not contain any errors. The authors all present different perspectives, but they all proclaim the same one true God, and the same one way of salvation—Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
In John 8:58 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"
The above verse speaks a lot about who Jesus really is.
All about Jesus and the Holy Trinity explained in the below website.

Lots of videos, sermons, songs are also present, along with all of Jesus miracles, his parables, and questions on his birth, crucifixion, resurrection are answered.
Many major questions on Christianity are answered with lot of examples that cannot be denied by anyone, such as,
1) Did Jesus really exist? Is He God? Why did He suffer on the Cross?
2) What is so special about Jesus? Why cant I just view him as an ordinary man or a teacher or a prophet? Why should I see him as God?
