http://www.ritualmagick.org/ – great for finding full texts of books
http://magickaschool.com/ – free online beginning wicca and tarot courses
    http://witchvox.com/ – pagan community
    http://www.religioustolerance.org/ – unbiased information

I’d suggest reading Raymond Buckland’s complete book of witchcraft, as well as (for magick) the satanic bible by La Vey, both can be found on ritualmagick.org (and if you can’t find them, I have pdf’s i’d be happy to send you.) Thank you for being open minded.

  2. Richard M says:

    none of it is sensible

  3. Monica P says:

because it is not real it is hard to get info

  4. Jennifer_Saved says:

    The Bible,

If witchcraft is not dangerous, then why did God tell us, "Suffer not a witch to live"?

Satan has his clutches on ppl today, but they are proud of their sin.

How 'sensible' do you think it is to hand over your life to The Father Of Lies and burn forever?

  5. Spooky says:

A good place to start would be witchvox.com or wicca.timerift.net.

    :D

  6. hippishy says:

There are alot of resources out there. Books are not so hard to come by I would suggest http://www.alibris.com

  7. BrooklynBabii says:

i am defineteltly not going to tell you the weay to get witch craft because its just plain wrong and its a sin to be involved eith witch craft

  8. Brian S says:

I think a good source of information is http://www.religioustolerance.org.org.

They have information on a number of different belief systems. Often times the writers of the articles are practioners in that religion and not from another which helps give you a better idea.

You may also wish to google Wicca.

1)Ignore the fundies saying you’ll go to hell and are opening yourself up to demons. We don’t believe in either.
2)Get the book: Wicca, a Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham (Amazon.com used books is a great resource)
3)Avoid Silver Ravenwolf, DJ Conway and most Llewellyn books
4)Do NOT pay for lessons over the internet. You can’t ask for references. Do NOT give out personal information to anyone over the internet. Get a PO Box.
    5)www.witchvox.com http://www.wicca.timerift.net
6)Learn and keep learning about various paths in paganism.
    7) get the book: “Drawing Down the Moon” by Margo Adler (an older book that’s a little dated, especially concerning Asatru but a good resource) – it gives an overview on a lot of pagan traditions. Might help you narrow things down.

  10. Joshua W says:

well…i won't condone black magick, but you could try creating your own spells since that would give them more personal power. i've created a few my self…but those are based off of the wiccan faith, which i'm not sure is exactly what you want. but there are some good books out there that could help you. my friend has a ton of books that i'm sure she'd let me look through and i'd be able to tell you some of the titles. a lot of them would be green magick as she really likes herbs though. (i believe she said she was a druid.)

the books i have that might have is
    the spiral dance by starhawk,
a grimoire of shadows by ed fitch
drawing down the moon by margot adler
bucklands complete book of witchcraft by ramond buckland
and wicca a guide for the solitary practitioner by scott cuningham

(some people don't like llewellyn's books but it worked for me, and scott cunningham is published by llewellyn's by the way.)

These are just a few books that I have in my own collection that I think would be good to start learning. There is also a book called Wicca & Witchcraft for Dummies. I have not read it myself, but heard that it was actually really good. As others have said witchvox.com is a nice site, as well as ladyoftheearth.com While some may not agree with me I would suggest you stay away from anything written by Silver Ravenwolf. That is just me, other seem to like her. I hope these help. Best of luck on your Path. Bright Blessings

My current favorite book is “Progressive Witchcraft” by Janet Farrar and Gavin Bone. Another favorite of mine, if you really want a lot of info in a short book, is “Witchcraft: a Concise Guide” by Isaac Bonewits.

Read all occult books out there, all have secrets within them. Then forget all you have read and start looking inside, the real answers are there. Seek what you desire without will avail you not. The secret has been inside you the whole time.
