I highly doubt that blacks don’t know their roots man. Maybe these “Black Americans” are just tired of living in the past and realize that bitching about things that happened hundreds of years ago doesn’t do a damn thing. Nor does blaming white people in their 30’s for things they had no control over help them any so why do it? Everyone knows history and knows all the bull shit the Europeans did to other people. Mayan Culture was and is for the Mayan people. Today, you do find many “Mayan” people, they’re just too ‘brainwashed’ and ‘colonized’ to know that they are “Mayan”, or “Aztech”. They Foolishly call themselves “Mexican” or “Mexican American”.
