let’s talk about the obvious. The clear noticeable action here is that the US gov’t is waiting first for the public reaction on UFO sighting event before confirming it via media the reality of the sighting incident. One thing you could say in favor of the US government is it’s consistency in confirming what happen after months or years passed. Just look at this apollo moon mission UFO sightings & this phoenix lighst seen in march and confirm via medias at same time in june.Consensus is obvious 2

I may have been debris of some kind, but it probably wasn’t the section of the booster as some have said, the outer range of visually seeing it would be around 50 maybe 100 miles maximum. That is significant because the distance to the booster section is estimated to have been was thousands of miles away. If something had fell from the capsule after the last big engine burn, the object would tend to stay fairly close by as the ship traveled on to the Moon. Such an object may be the culprit.

Buzz has been changing his own opinion on whether it was something very unusual out there, or if it was a known piece of the launch system. So it is hard to say if he ever really did feel that they were being followed by something not from our neighborhood. His Icon status as a moon walker will insure that he is not forgotten anytime soon, but there will always be those who wonder if he was covering up a real ET event, or just reporting space debris.
it may be that what he saw were test aircraft of the u.s. air force on their way to the nevada desert where they staged the moon landings.lol

Note that the context of Aldrin’s statement is unclear. We don’t see what he said before these 36 seconds. The real context of his statement might give a completely different meaning to this clip. buzz is on his way out so he can talk about aliens now. i think it will be revealed to us very soon 2009-2012.

Perhaps; I obviously don’t know for sure. All I know is what Buzz said on TV regarding Apollo 11. As for any other subject, who knows?
It is my understanding that when the shuttle visits the International Space Station, that the ISS crew can see the Shuttle with the naked eye somewhere around 50 to 100 miles away, something smaller would be much harder to spot, it is possible that they were seeing something trailing them, that is why they radioed NASA, asking if any debris was near them, NASA replied “NO”, so it is a major mystery.

Can you show me you references re the Van Allen Radiation belt? thats the main thing that makes me wonder.
They WERE looking at a jettisoned door from when they undocked the CSM, turned around, and extracted the LEM from the S-IVB. The odds were very low that they could see any of those 4 doorpieces as they were so far away, but that is indeed what they ended up seeing. He says as much during his interview on Larry King some years back.
Now, as far as what Neil allegedly saw on the moon, that’s a completely different story.
I’m just getting my NASA history now and I gotta say I love BUZZ. His MIT background & ability to solve spacewalking problems NASA scientists had failed at is impressive. The astronauts mention experiencing visual distortion. It is possible they were seeing module parts @6k miles. It being a UFO: It seems more history stories back up the idea it could be a UFO than disprove it. I am glad I am around for NASA going back to the moon. GODSPEED!
