    It is continuance-
    It is also the only shape that can go round and round without any interference. A triangle, square and any other shape has to turn to continue on its path, the circle is a smooth continuing path for rotation, and no abrupt turn to make no end and no beginning. It is one thing, a triangle requires three things to become one=3 linear lines, a square four etc…

    A stone circle represented two things – mans connection to the powers of nature and the gods – and the power of the druids over the common man. The closed circle in which rituals were carried out were exclusive not inclusive, the shape and arrangement of the stones making it difficult for outside observers to see what was going on inside. Like watching a party through a gap in your garden fence.
