90 mm catadioptric on a go-to mount. I had one they’re crap. Aperture is too small for faint objects and the secondary mirror causes a loss of contrast, which is what you want for the planets. Not a good all round ’scope. Plus the tripod supplied raises the ’scope by about 10 inches only. No good for serious viewing. Put it on a camera tripod and it shakes allover the place. Can’t get a steady view. Any telescope is only as good as the mount its on.
It’s an ETX.
Awesome burp at 1:46.
I believe the ED refractor is a model from William Optics.
yeah, but deppends what you want to see…its good when you have very dark sky(30miles from city) and you want to see DS…
whtats the wtf about??? the size of that reflector??? phee….i’ve got 16:…thats a 10″..
Your videos are great! thanks!
Does anyone know the model names of the last two telescopes he talked about?
Well you could see that there was an old model of Celestron NexStar if I’m right.. (I haven’t become acquainted with the old models..) Then there is an Meade Lightbridge, the 10″ Dobsonian, and the little go to is a Meade too. I’m not sure about the model but it’s Meade..
Awesome video….just one problem…..he acts as if we know the make and model already. He doesn’t give us the names of any of the products. WTF, how are we supposed to go buy these if we have no idea what they are called.
Buy the way the one under $200 is Orion StarBlast 4.5 Astro. I want one.
1:46 wtf!! haha….anyway,very useful video,thanx!
is the lightbridge 8inch a gd apperture?
yes that was well done
“clap, clap” SATURN. I wish the Celestron at the planetarium I work at was that easy. The clutch in the tracking base apparently wore out from so much use.
Nice video, well done.
