So-called chemtrails are simply aircraft contrails torn by shear winds. As a light aircraft pilot, I often look at the winds in altitude. A few weeks ago we had, over northern Europe, a jetstream going south and another going north right under it. Knowing that those can reach 300 Km/h in speed, you can imagine what it does to condensation clouds like contrails.
Believing anything else would be a poor conspiracy theory.
There is no such thing as a "chemtrail". Here is the scientific answer. They are called "contrails", short for condensation trails. They criss-cross the entire globe and consequently do have an affect on the weather albeit a small effect. While having a negligible effect on the outgoing longwave infrared radiation, they reflect a fraction of the incoming shortwave solar radiation. When they spread out and cover much of the local sky this can result in a lowering of the daytime temperature. These contrails form when there is high humidity at cloud level or flight level and with the very cold ambient temperatures present, the frost point is easily met and ice crystals form in the exhaust plumes of jet engines. Perhaps over the entire history of jet aircraft these contrails may have even had a small impact on the climate of the planet.
Proper term for Chemtrails is actualy Contrails or
Condensation Trails. Contrails ,is short for "condensation trail", they are clouds formed in the wake of high-flying aircraft. Their lifetime is indicative of the amount of moisture in the upper levels of the atmosphere. The greater the moisture, the longer they persist.
Any where there are High Flying Aircraft you will have Contrails.
They are formed when the cool moist air is disturbed by the turbines of a jet engine.
There and every where else!!!
Contrails: yes, I’ve seen them from California.
Chemtrails: seems like a largely unsupported conspiracy theory with as little evidence as most conspiracy theories.

First off take a look at this photo and make sure we are talking about the same thing.
