living in north oxon i suppose im lucky, i dont see any chem trails, the area has many army and air-force sites and bases, which is probably why ! but i have seen them in south yorkshire where i visit often,, it would also be useful when filming trails over the london area, to check if the royals are in residence or are conveniantly abroad or in scotland at the time ! just a thought.

Living in the States, and in Alabama it looks like as Julio Fuentes on Sanford and Son would say they are playing tica -taca -toea in the skies. @MrGopherhead sorry? how does that work? the rotation of the earth causes the “shadow”/dark trail to form at (my observed estimation) 300-500mph jet cruising speed and not at the speed of light like all other shadows ?and they form east /west first thing in the morning? and west/east at the end of the day? presumably they only occur at these times as, for example, at midday they are not affected by the earth’s rotation?and would form at the speed of light south north(northern hemisphere)?
@MarkB1ngham Jst because the sun has set (is below the horizon from your perspective on the ground) that doesn’t mean it isn’t still in line of sight from a greater altitude such as from the cloud formations. I have been flying my own plane many times near sunset and on the ground the sun appears set, from 1,000 ft or so it is visible again. Common sense. I would think the speed of the formig shadow you are talking about would depend on the rotation speed of the earth and speed of the clouds

@MrGopherhead the question wasn’t really aimed at your good self, the terminal wouldn’t let me use the normal respond box for some reason. Sometimes the ‘dark trails’ bisect cloud forms sometimes they trail across blue skies and they can be seen at twighlight when the sun has set. You can see them forming at a velocity well below the speed of light commensurate to normal “shadows”.
If they ever let you out of solitary confinement at the tard farm and you get to go out into the sunlight you will cast a shadow too.
@MarkB1ngham They are called shadows. You know, the things that are cast when any object with mass is backlit by sunlight. I realize that something as complex as shadows are hard for tards to understand. Commercial jets perform this “stunt” the same way trees and any other object performs this “stunt” .
